Meet the FDMINI Miniature Oval Platter Collection — a scalloped oval with a stepped double rim and a smooth recessed well, in the shape of a French serving dish. It's a single mould in three very different finishes, which means the same plate can anchor a bright modern kitchen or a dark antique dining room.

The two metal finishes are where the work shows. Rather than a flat metallic coat, each is a dark base with warm highlights rubbed across the surface and settled into the recesses — the way real aged brass and copper actually oxidise. Under a macro lens the finish reads as decades of use, not as paint.

Three finishes: Porcelain White with a clean matte glaze for modern, Nordic and café settings; Antique Bronze in warm dark gold for period, tavern and steampunk scenes; and Antique Copper in deep reddish brown for rustic, farmhouse and vintage interiors.

Two sizes: Small (30 × 21 × 3 mm) and Large (50 × 35 × 4 mm) — in 1:6 scale roughly an 18 cm side plate and a 30 cm serving platter, so a table can be set with both rather than repeating one size.

Plate a miniature steak or cake slice on the large one, use the small as a side or dessert plate, stack them on an open shelf, or use a metal one as a vanity tray for perfume bottles and jewellery.
