Scale Guide (1:6 vs 1:12 vs 1:4)

## What does “scale” mean?
Scale is a ratio that compares a miniature to real life. For example:
- **1:6 scale** means the miniature is 6x smaller than real life.
- **1:12 scale** means the miniature is 12x smaller than real life.
- **1:4 scale** means the miniature is 4x smaller than real life.

### 1:6 scale (our main scale)
Best for **12-inch fashion dolls and action figures** (example: 12" figures similar size to Barbie’s world / common 1:6 dollhouse styling).
- Most fdmini miniatures are designed around **1:6 proportion**
- Works well in display shelves, diorama scenes, dollhouse rooms, photography props

### 1:12 scale
Best for **traditional dollhouses** and smaller figures.
- Some pieces may still work visually, but proportions will vary
- Always check the product photos and listing notes

### 1:4 scale
Best for **16–18 inch dolls and larger display setups**.
- Use selectively: many tiny props may look “small” at 1:4
